Thank YOU for Speadin’ The LUV!
We are so grateful, thankful and happy for all of the love we were shown on this summers touring season! We met more new friends on this one single tour than we have in a few years time. Places and Times and Faces come and go so quickly that its easy to not stop and take time to thank those who have helped you along the way. The band has been just outstanding to me and my sometimes “unorthodox” approaches to this business. To have people stand with you and learn along the way is all a man can ask for in this lifetime and Heather and Blake do that and much more. Bottom line is…we have FUN and try and remember WHY we decided to be independent artists. It’s not about taking the safe road to travel and having something to fall back on…its about giving your LIFE to and not LOOKING back with regrets EVER. We toured alot with My two kids Maya (12) and Ben (10) as well as Heather’s girl Zoe (10). Maya is writing her own stuff now and Ben is in his 2nd year of being a Bassist as Zoe is finding her voice through a sweet Marley tune
The kids have lit my path for many years now and to have them close to us while we all make music together….well…i dont HAVE the RIGHT WORDS for that yet!!! We have new friends from here to Pennsylvania and through the Fingerlakes of New York and its Grass Roots festival…Our thread lead us back to the wonderful Town Greens of Vermont to our 6th Year of hosting The August West Festival In The Northeast Kingdom. We played both The Ethnic Fest with Cigar Box Instruments and did Friday Night Live in my hometown. We were invited to Tweed River Music Fest and blown away by the acts and the attendence!!! We played radio shows and released a live DVD and a live CD. We have been busy and very much need to stay the same way! The burdens of a tough economy have weighed very heavily on us this past couple of years.. We here the same stories everywhere we go. We also FEEL BETTER playing MUSIC and people FEEL BETTER when they come out to shows. We share some great healing powers through this artform and truly one cannot exist without the other:) On behalf of Myself and the band and our kids.. MUCH LOVE AND MANY THANKS!
