Rick Redington has been performing
in and around the Northeast for nearly 20 years now. As a solo
singer/songwriter, a founding member of The Huge Members, one half of the
acoustic duo The Heavily Bros., and most recently with a great back up band
called The Luv" .

Rick’s other endeavors
have included works with A Rather Large Band (11
piece ensemble) & as a member of a three-piece jazz project called VII. He is very
fortunate to be doing what he loves and make a living at it.
Touring with his band at least three times each year and holding weekly and
monthly residencies in Vermont and New York City keep the fires burning at the
Redington Music Inc. Factory high up in the Green Mountains.
In the past Rick has opened for many different national recording artists such
as: Joe Walsh, Blue Oyster Cult, The New Riders, Rick Danko, Warren Haynes &
Gov’t Mule, Cake, April Wine, Mike Keneally(former F.Z. guitarist)…and a
host of others. Recently Rick has opened for Hot Tuna, The Wailers, Richie
Havens, Jonathan Edwards & The Samples.
Last year he was invited to perform the United Nations for an Aids film featuring
Lucy Lui.
Rick Has 7 album releases to date and is currently working on his 8th.as well as
four
discs with former band Huge Members.
Rick also appeared in a movie with Billy Ray Cyrus called Radical Jack.
Rick’s release titled Destiny included a track with Rock n’ Roll hall
of famer Jorma Kaukonen and his next release featured two more songs
recorded with Jorma as well as one track with Jack Casady. That disc called “Sweet Life” is exactly what Rick seems to be living.
