Past
Projects
Rick assembled a 12 piece ensemble, which he affectionately
called A Rather Large Band, featuring three female vocalists and a three piece
horn section. Originally formed to showcase material from Destiny. The
common thread with all of Rick's past and present projects is that they all
feature musicians who mix & match and assist each other in their own
individual projects. So even though one project may have come and gone, you'll
still see the ol' familiar faces here and there.

HUGE MEMBERS

Bands come and go. That's rock 'n roll. Every now and then a band comes along
that leaves behind a legend. Such a band was the Huge Members, an alternative
rock trio from Rutland, Vermont that featured Rick Redington (guitar &
vocals), Curt Stannard (bass & vocals) & John
Azer (drums & vocals). The enormous tangled web of the Huge Members
ensnared a variety of other musicians from the Vermont artist community and
beyond on a regular basis. Hell, they even managed to snag Billy
Ray Cyrus on stage.

Heavily Brothers
The Heavily Brothers is an outstanding acoustic duo with long
time friend and original member of the Huge Members Mr. Duane Carleton. Duane
and Rick’s friendship started on a fateful day in an old train station
converted into a music store. The owner of the store, Cecil Duscharme,
introduced Rick & Duane to each other when they were about 17 years old.
Cecil was a good friend and remains an inspiration to this day.
